Construction Superintendent

Our client is a commercial construction company that is looking to add a few Superintendents to lead project execution.

 

Superintendent Responsibilities: 

  • Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force to include subcontractors and assistant superintendents
  • Coordinate with Project Manager to review all subcontractor payments and project budget
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients, including representatives of Owner and Architect/Engineer
  • Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules
  • Communicate and enforce Safety and Health Management Program 

Superintendent Must Have Skills: 

  • 5-10 years of construction experience with some experience as a site lead
  • Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of Project Contracts, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders
  • Must have experience with large-scale healthcare projects.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching less experienced superintendents and tradespeople
  • Procor or other project management software experience is highly desirable
