Commercial Construction Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
3+ years of renovation experience
3+ years of preconstruction experience (collaborating with architects and engineers)
Knowledge of local DC codes and regulations
Strong understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method)
Proficiency with Procore and MS Suite
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
Strong emotional intelligence
Clear communication for clients, vendors, and co-workers
Ability to manage multiple projects and many moving pieces
Expert at keeping schedules tight, budgets on track, and subcontractors aligned
Solution-oriented and passionate about being in the field
Motivated to improve processes, take initiative, and grow with the company

Commercial Construction Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience with non-profit and mission-based projects
