Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of restaurant management experience (scratch kitchen experience preferred)
  • Bilingual abilities
  • Hospitality degree is a plus
  • ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain quickly)
  • Open availability, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in high-volume restaurant settings
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage pressure effectively
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction
  • Lead, motivate, and coach your team to maintain a positive and accountable work culture
  • Manage inventory, food and labor costs, and uphold all quality and safety standards
  • Build strong relationships with your team, guests, and vendors
  • Support staff development to help every team member perform at their best
