We are seeking a hands-on, experienced 1st Shift Maintenance Tech Lead to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure maximum equipment uptime in our manufacturing facility. This is a working leadership role requiring strong technical ability, initiative, and the ability to collaborate closely with Operations. 1st Shift Maintenance Tech Lead Responsibilities

Open the shop daily and ensure equipment readiness for production
Lead and prioritize first shift maintenance activities
Coordinate with Operations Manager on workforce planning and scheduling
Mentor and support maintenance team members
Maintain clear documentation and communication across departments
Program, set up, and operate laser cutting equipment
Program and maintain robotic welding systems
Maintain building systems, including HVAC, compressed air, lighting, and utilities
Develop and improve PM systems

1st Shift Maintenance Tech Lead Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
Hands-on experience with laser cutting (Amada preferred)
Robotic welding programming experience (Yaskawa or similar)
MIG and TIG welding experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience developing preventive maintenance systems
ERP experience (EPICOR is a strong plus)
Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Spanish language skills a plus
