We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support commercial construction projects in a fast-paced environment where organization and communication are critical. This role works closely with Project Managers, administrative staff, fellow coordinators, and field personnel to help drive projects from startup through completion.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of commercial construction processes. Familiarity with epoxy terrazzo or specialty flooring systems is a plus, but not required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations team in managing multiple projects from startup through closeout
  • Track and maintain job-specific details and documentation
  • Establish basis-of-designs for new projects and coordinate hard samples
  • Coordinate, review, and submit shop drawings
  • Prepare material submittal packages based on project specifications
  • Quantify and track scope changes, including RFIs, ASIs, and PCOs
  • Perform data entry and updates within project management software
  • Manage incoming project emails, calls, and correspondence
  • Coordinate with internal teams and field personnel on a daily basis
  • Participate in occasional light travel, as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Schedule & Availability

  • Full-time role, 40+ hours per week
  • Requires accountability and accessibility as projects demand

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of construction experience or a construction-related degree (Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, specifications, and other construction documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong “can-do” attitude
