Commercial Insurance Producer – Odessa, FL

Commercial Insurance Producer Benefits & Compensation

Competitive base salary ($60,000–$80,000) plus commissions on new business
Primarily onsite role with hybrid flexibility for client meetings and prospecting

Commercial Insurance Producer Requirements & Qualifications

Florida 2-20 General Lines Agent License (required)
Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance sales experience in an independent agency environment
Demonstrated ability to develop new business and build referral networks (with property managers, HOAs, business owners, or similar)
Experience managing and retaining a commercial book of business
Experience with habitational and lessor’s risk accounts, small- to mid-sized commercial clients
Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management software

Commercial Insurance Producer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Prospect and secure new commercial lines clients, focusing on habitational and lessor’s risk accounts
Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners and business owners
Collaborate with carriers to structure tailored coverage solutions
Track sales activity, production goals, and maintain compliance standards
Support client retention and provide service as needed, with renewal assistance from account management support
