A Luxury Resort is seeking an experienced Executive Banquet Chef to support the Executive Chef in leading culinary operations across our luxury resort, with a strong focus on banquets and multi-outlet service. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a creative and organized culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen and banquet operations
- Lead, train, and mentor culinary staff across outlets and event operations
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and execution for banquets
- Collaborate on menu development, recipe testing, and seasonal offerings
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Coordinate culinary logistics and staffing for events and weddings
- Partner with Event Services and Front-of-House teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Monitor food and labor costs, inventory, and portion control
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree preferred; 6+ years of progressive kitchen experience
- Prior leadership experience in luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques
- Solid understanding of cost control, inventory, and HACCP standards
- Physically able to meet the demands of a high-volume kitchen
- Strong communication and organizational skills
