A leading U.S. manufacturer is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support production performance in a high volume manufacturing environment. This role is hands on and plant facing, focused on Lean execution, labor efficiency, material flow, and continuous improvement projects that directly impact throughput and cost.

This opportunity is ideal for an Industrial Engineer who enjoys working directly with supervisors and operators, running time studies, leading kaizens, and improving shop floor performance through practical, data driven solutions.

Industrial Engineer What You Will Do

  • Analyze workforce utilization, workflow, and equipment layout to improve production efficiency
  • Lead time studies and line balancing efforts to improve labor productivity and reduce bottlenecks
  • Support production teams with kaizens, 5S initiatives, and daily shop floor improvement work
  • Improve material flow, staging, and line side delivery to reduce waste and support assembly operations
  • Identify downtime, rework, and throughput constraints and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate process and equipment changes on production lines
  • Improve manufacturing documentation including routings, work instructions, BOMs, and inspection sheets
  • Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness initiatives
  • Validate process improvements using data analysis, capability studies, and continuous improvement tools

Industrial Engineer What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 5 years of relevant Industrial Engineering experience preferred
  • Strong hands on experience with time studies and line balancing
  • Lean manufacturing experience including 5S, kaizen, and standard work
  • Manufacturing plant experience required, assembly environment strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally and drive adoption of process changes
  • CAD experience is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship required
