About the Role:

We are looking for an Associate Director, Paid Social to lead our paid social strategy and optimize performance across client accounts. This position will elevate the connection between social investment and broader marketing goals. You will blend hands-on platform expertise with analytical rigor and team leadership, taking accountability for performance, testing, and talent development.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will balance strategic leadership with hands-on expertise:

  • Paid Social Leadership: Spearhead and optimize paid social programs on major platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, X, and other emerging channels.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign data to derive insights, inform optimizations, and shape future media strategies.
  • Testing Strategy: Develop and manage structured testing roadmaps that align with client objectives, balancing performance gains with learning opportunities.
  • Client-Ready Insights: Create clear and actionable campaign insights and performance reports linked to business outcomes.
  • Innovation and Experimentation: Drive innovative A/B tests and experiments to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Holistic Marketing Approach: Integrate broader business objectives into cohesive social investment strategies.
  • Best Practices and Process: Establish and refine internal processes, frameworks, and standards for the social investment team.
  • Team Development: Train, mentor, and cultivate junior team members into top-tier social marketers.

Experience Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience Level: 4–7 years in paid social or social performance marketing.
  • Platform Proficiency: Strong experience across leading and emerging social platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, and X.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and performance reporting tools.
  • Education: BA/BS degree required; degrees in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics are a plus.
  • Analytical Strength: Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication, including client-facing presentations.
  • Executional Rigor: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bonus Experience: Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, R, or Python are a plus.
