We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to support sourcing and supplier strategy for complex HVAC and mechanical systems within mission-critical and federal environments.

This role blends engineering expertise with procurement execution, ensuring technical requirements translate into effective purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret HVAC/mechanical specifications and align with sourcing strategy
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and evaluate supplier capabilities
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
• Partner with engineering and project teams to ensure technical alignment
• Support supplier selection for complex infrastructure projects
• Track cost, performance, and vendor delivery metrics
• Contribute to procurement planning across multiple projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3–5 years of experience in:
• engineering
• procurement
• or a hybrid of both
• Experience with HVAC, MEP, or mechanical systems
• Exposure to vendor coordination, sourcing, or supplier management

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or federal environments
• Familiarity with RFPs, contract negotiation, and supplier evaluation
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
