Civil Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles with a completed bachelor's degree
- Site development and design, including stormwater management design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, plan preparation, and grading
- Experience with various permit applications, including FDOT and Water Management Districts
- Report writing and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork on a limited/project-required basis
- Integrity and passion for the work
- Serve as the main contact with clients
- Make presentations to clients and municipalities as needed
- Respond to RFQs and represent the company effectively
Civil Design Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5–10 years of local experience
- Licenses: EI required, PE preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and stormwater design software
Civil Design Engineer Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in stormwater modeling, analysis, and design
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and demeanor for client meetings
