Civil Design Engineer Responsibilities:

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles with a completed bachelor's degree
Site development and design, including stormwater management design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, plan preparation, and grading
Experience with various permit applications, including FDOT and Water Management Districts
Report writing and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork on a limited/project-required basis
Integrity and passion for the work
Serve as the main contact with clients
Make presentations to clients and municipalities as needed
Respond to RFQs and represent the company effectively

Civil Design Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
5–10 years of local experience
Licenses: EI required, PE preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and stormwater design software

Civil Design Engineer Qualifications:

Strong communication skills
Experience in stormwater modeling, analysis, and design
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and demeanor for client meetings
