General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

High school diploma required; BA/BS degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of upscale fast casual/QSR GM experience
Effective spoken and written English communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods
Willingness to work variable hours based on business needs

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Previous experience developing and training teams
Strong financial and business acumen
Experience with hiring, scheduling, and performance management
Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record preferred

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to ensure operational excellence and outstanding guest service
Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
Manage scheduling, labor, and inventory to achieve financial goals and control costs
Ensure food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance at all times
Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment
Execute company marketing and community outreach initiatives
Address guest concerns professionally and create solutions to continually improve service
