We are seeking a TechComm Special Counsel with 10+ years of wireless regulatory and spectrum experience to join a nationally recognized corporate practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on FCC regulatory strategy, spectrum issues, and complex wireless policy matters, with the ability to independently manage high-level regulatory matters and client relationships.

TechComm Special Counsel Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage wireless regulatory and spectrum matters for major clients
  • Advise clients on FCC regulatory strategy, compliance obligations, and emerging policy trends
  • Prepare, review, and supervise submissions and filings before the FCC and other federal agencies
  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients on strategic regulatory issues
  • Mentor associates and contribute to team development and training
  • Support business development initiatives within wireless, mobility, and infrastructure sectors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the firm to support client objectives

TechComm Special Counsel Requirements

  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission or eligibility for admission in the District of Columbia
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in wireless regulatory and spectrum matters
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex FCC regulatory matters independently
  • Experience advising clients directly on strategic regulatory issues
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
