We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Chief Aviation Inspector to join our team in Van Nuys, CA. This is a full-time position, and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday. The operational needs of the organization may necessitate working after hours, weekends or holidays.

Chief Aviation Inspector Compensation:

  • Base salary in the $125,000.00-$140,000.00 range
  • Relocation assistance

  • 401(k)
  • Sign-on bonus $8,000.00

Chief Aviation Inspector Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ of helicopter maintenance experience
  • Current FAA issued Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) required
  • Formal training on Sikorskys76, Airbus AS350 or Leonardo AW109 is a plus
  • Prior experience as a Chief Inspector in a FAA Part 145 Rotorcraft Repair Station
  • Experience with FAA audits and corrective action processes
  • ASQ or other quality certifications ( Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Inspector) preferred
