PLS Job Responsibilities:

Independently manage land surveying projects from proposal through completion while maintaining strong client relationships.
Conduct and oversee boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Lead, mentor, and supervise field and office staff to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Prepare, review, and present survey maps, reports, and legal documentation to clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and leadership on multiple concurrent projects.

PLS Job Requirements:

Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.
3–4+ years of professional land surveying experience, including 2–3+ years managing projects.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, modern surveying equipment, and related software.
Strong knowledge of surveying principles, legal requirements, and land records, with excellent analytical skills.
