In this unique position, you will prepare nutritious, seasonal meals for a family. You will also manage a sustainable garden that emphasizes farm-to-table practices. This role offers the opportunity to engage with the community and lead initiatives focused on healthy living and sustainability.
Private Chef Culinary Duties:
– Prepare daily meals that cater to the family's dietary needs and preferences.
– Create seasonal menus that incorporate fresh ingredients from the garden.
– Collaborate with local farmers to source high-quality ingredients
– Cultivate a diverse range of vegetables, herbs, and fruits.
– Implement organic gardening practices and monitor plant health.
– Establish relationships with local vendors for sustainable food sourcing.
– Identify opportunities for garden expansion and community initiatives.
Private Chef Qualifications:
– Culinary arts degree or equivalent professional experience.
– Knowledge of sustainable cooking and organic gardening.
– Experience in community outreach or education.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Excellent communication skills and a commitment to community engagement.
