We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager with experience specializing in individual (1040), partnership (1065), corporate (1120), and estate (1030) tax returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and possess a gregarious personality that fosters collaboration and enhances client relationships.

Tax Manager Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare and review various tax returns, including 1040s, 1065s, 1120s, and 1030s, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.

– Handle complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.

– Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

– Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert guidance.

– Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient financial management and reporting.

– Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

– Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.

– Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients and the firm.

– Prepare financial statements and other financial reports as needed.

– Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Tax Manager Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

– Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.

– Extensive knowledge of 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1030 tax forms.

– Proficient in QuickBooks Online; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a gregarious personality that thrives in a team-oriented environment.

– Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
