Operations Director Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of multi-unit or high-volume operations leadership in hospitality, food service, or retail.
  • Proven track record of leading, developing, and inspiring engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Experience creating scalable systems, operational standards, and training programs.

Operations Director Preferred Background & Skills

  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding brand standards.

Operations Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee in-store production and partner with the Bakehouse Director to ensure products meet the highest standards.
  • Lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and increase productivity.
  • Standardize systems and SOPs to support scalability and operational consistency.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain strong leaders while fostering a collaborative, accountable culture.
  • Champion a hospitality-first culture that consistently exceeds guest expectations.
  • Oversee P&L performance across multiple locations and analyze financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
