A rapidly growing manufacturer serving the semiconductor and advanced technology industries is seeking a Process Control Manager to lead automation, controls engineering, and process optimization efforts at its flagship production facility.

This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced controls professional who enjoys building teams, improving manufacturing reliability, and driving automation initiatives in a highly technical production environment.

Position Overview:

The Process Control Manager will lead a team responsible for plant-wide automation systems, process controls, data historian management, alarm management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and Production teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Process Controls team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.

• Manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.

• Oversee PLC and DCS programming, troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimization.

• Lead deployment and administration of OSI Soft PI Data Historian systems.

• Direct Alarm Management programs in accordance with ISA 18.2 standards.

• Manage automation consultants and third-party contractors.

• Support plant commissioning, startup activities, and capital projects.

• Develop and maintain process control documentation, interlock matrices, loop sheets, and functional specifications.

• Partner with operations teams to identify and implement process improvements.

• Provide technical leadership for industrial communication networks and control architectures.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience in Electrical, Automation, Controls Engineering, PLC/HMI, or related discipline.

• 10+ years of industrial controls engineering, PLC programming, DCS programming, and troubleshooting experience.

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.

• Strong expertise with industrial automation systems and control architectures.

• Experience implementing and managing OSI Soft PI Data Historian platforms.

• Alarm Management experience following ISA 18.2 standards.

• Experience with Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Fieldbus, DeviceNet, or similar industrial communication protocols.

• Working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $110,000 – $150,000
