A growing, privately held manufacturing and consumer products company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its legal leadership team. This role offers a defined path to General Counsel succession within 3–5 years and is ideal for a business-minded attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements
- Advise business leaders on legal and commercial matters
- Support intellectual property, brand protection, and advertising review
- Manage outside counsel relationships and litigation oversight
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, marketing, and HR
Ideal Background
- 8–15 years of legal experience
- Large law firm training strongly preferred
- In-house experience preferred
- Manufacturing, consumer products, CPG, or similar industry experience
- Strong commercial contracts and transactional experience
- Exposure to trademarks, advertising, and IP matters is a plus

Compensation
- Competitive base salary
- Target bonus (~20%)
- Profit sharing
Location
