Position Summary
The Post Closer is responsible for managing and finalizing all documentation and administrative activities following the closing of real estate transactions. This role ensures that all post-closing requirements are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with legal, regulatory, and firm standards. The Post Closer plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of transaction files, supporting client satisfaction, and ensuring the timely recording and completion of all closing-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

· Review closed files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm policies and legal requirements
· Prepare and submit documents for recording with appropriate county offices, including mail-in jurisdictions
· Track recorded documents and confirm receipt of final title policies
· Identify and resolve post-closing issues, including missing documentation, funding discrepancies, and title defects
· Coordinate with lenders, title examiners, attorneys, county offices, and internal teams to obtain and clear outstanding items
· Ensure all post-closing conditions are satisfied in a timely and accurate manner
· Maintain organized and complete electronic and physical files in accordance with firm retention policies
· Respond to internal and external inquiries related to completed transactions
· Assist with audits, quality control reviews, and compliance initiatives

Qualifications
· Knowledge of real estate closing documents, title insurance, and recording requirements preferred
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
