We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Producer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to commercial clients across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial insurance clients
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and community involvement
- Develop relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers
- Assess client risks and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Design and present customized insurance programs (Property, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, etc.)
- Provide ongoing risk management guidance and coverage reviews
- Meet or exceed new business production goals
- Drive revenue growth through cross-selling and account expansion
- Maintain strong close ratios and pipeline activity
- Work with carriers and underwriters to negotiate pricing and coverage terms
- Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, and underwriting guidelinesPartner with Account Managers and service teams for smooth onboarding and client retention
- Maintain accurate documentation in agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance sales or production
- Active Property & Casualty license (required)
- Proven track record of new business development and meeting sales goals
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverage structures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of accountability and drive
