Restaurant Manager – San Antonio, TX

Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience focused on FOH operations
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on kitchen experience (scratch kitchen strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of both FOH and BOH execution
  • Proven ability to run effective shifts and lead cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of food quality standards, kitchen workflow, and service timing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant management systems (POS, inventory, HR software)
  • TABC, Food Manager, and Allergen Certification required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Resourceful problem solver with strong attention to detail

Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Financial acumen and P&L experience
  • Spanish speaking a plus, not required

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences across all FOH areas
  • Lead and manage FOH operations, including host stand, dining room, bar, and to-go
  • Collaborate with BOH teams to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely service and food quality
  • Drive team development through hiring, training, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Manage schedules, labor, and staffing needs, maintaining high levels of professionalism
  • Oversee inventory, cost controls, and operational efficiency in partnership with the General Manager
  • Coordinate live music operations and support marketing initiatives and special events
