Director of Nursing Benefits

Director of Nursing Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the community
• Lead, mentor, and support caregiver and nursing staff
• Conduct resident assessments, care planning, and clinical evaluations
• Ensure compliance with South Dakota assisted living regulations
• Manage medication oversight and documentation accuracy
• Partner with families, physicians, and outside providers regarding resident care
• Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff
• Maintain strong communication with leadership and support positive team culture
• Assist with resident assessments for potential move-ins and support community tours when needed
Director of Nursing Requirements
• Active and unencumbered RN license preferred (SD) – strong LPN leaders may also be considered
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare or senior living environment
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred
• Strong knowledge of resident assessments, care planning, and regulatory compliance
