  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Progressive accounting experience with a stable career history
  • Cost accounting and manufacturing experience required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working within a true ERP system
  • Strong GAAP knowledge

Finance, Accounting & Business Operations Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in small to mid-sized business environments

Finance, Accounting & Business Operations Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management
  • Lead month-end close and deliver timely financial statements
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and ensure accurate inventory valuation
  • Prepare management reporting packages and translate data insights for department leaders
  • Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, profitability, and operational analysis
  • Supervise a small accounting team and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Coordinate tax preparation with outside CPAs and support select HR and benefits functions
