Structural Project Engineer

We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support the analysis, design, and delivery of building projects across multiple market sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced architects, planners, and engineers while managing small to mid-sized projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building systems and materials
Develop computer models and engineering calculations to support design decisions
Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical correspondence
Participate in construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field observations
Collaborate directly with clients and design team members and attend internal and external project meetings
Conduct occasional field inspections and structural investigations
Support production efforts through Revit modeling and coordination

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in structural engineering with a focus on building structures
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification with active progress toward PE or SE licensure
Working knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and Revit
Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take on increasing responsibility and new technical challenges

Compensation

Anticipated salary range: $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience
