The primary responsibility of a catering sales and event planner is to develop existing corporate and social business and solicit new catering businesses through catering lead generation and catering sales marketing.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning menus
  • Meeting with customers and vendors
  • Discussing contract requirements with customers
  • Booking, selling, planning, and coordinating all social events
  • Generating revenue, establishing new accounts, and booking repeat business

Requirements

  • Leadership experience in fine dining, hotel, or off-premise catering services required
  • Must have strong event knowledge (Food, Staffing, Linen, Rentals)
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (Caterease is a plus)
  • Team Oriented
  • Maintains a Good Energy Level
  • Thorough and Organized
  • Professional
  • Positive Attitude
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends for client events
  • Caterease software experience is a Plus
