Sous Chef – New Restaurant Opening | Orland Park, IL

A new full-service restaurant is opening in Orland Park, and we’re building the culinary leadership team now. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, quality-driven concept and play a key role in shaping the kitchen culture from day one.

We’re seeking a hands-on Sous Chef who thrives in high-volume environments, supports consistent food execution, and helps develop a high-performing back-of-house team. Scratch kitchen experience is a plus.

What You’ll Do:

Support daily kitchen operations and service execution
Lead, coach, and develop line cooks and prep staff
Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and timing
Assist with inventory, ordering, and food cost management
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
Help establish kitchen culture, systems, and operational standards

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of Sous Chef or strong Kitchen Manager experience
Full-service, high-volume restaurant experience required
Scratch kitchen experience is a plus
Strong leadership and expediting skills
Proven ability to build and develop teams
Stable career progression with a track record of reliability

Compensation & Benefits:

$65,000 base salary
10% performance bonus
