Seeking an experienced Environmental Remediation Attorney to join a growing legal team in New Jersey. This role will work closely with the Environmental Partner to support the firm’s environmental practice, including remediation, litigation, permitting, land use, redevelopment, regulatory compliance, and transactional support.

Environmental Remediation Attorney Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • JD and barred in New Jersey in good standing
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Advise clients on federal, state, and local environmental remediation laws, including CERCLA, RCRA, and state cleanup programs
  • Manage and oversee contaminated site remediation projects from investigation through closure
  • Interface with regulatory agencies (EPA, state environmental agencies) on enforcement actions, consent decrees, and remediation plans
  • Counsel clients on voluntary cleanup programs, brownfields redevelopment, and risk-based corrective actions
