Compensation: $80,000 + 10% bonus

About the Opportunity

A privately owned, dual‑concept restaurant group located in a high‑traffic area of Galveston is seeking a refined, experienced General Manager to oversee two complementary properties positioned directly across the street from one another. Combined, the concepts generate over $4M in annual revenue, with one operating at a higher volume and the other offering a more intimate, boutique dining experience.

This is a rare opportunity for a polished operator who thrives in dynamic environments, leads with professionalism, and brings an ownership mentality to daily operations. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who elevates teams, protects the guest experience, and drives strong financial performance.

Candidates with a long-term career history on Galveston Island will not be considered.

What You’ll Lead

Full operational oversight of two distinct restaurant concepts with complementary hours
Daily floor leadership, guest relations, and service execution
Staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Labor, COGS, and controllable cost management
Weekly and monthly financial review and reporting
Implementation of systems, standards, and operational consistency across both properties
Partnership with ownership on strategic initiatives and long‑term growth

What You Bring

Minimum 5 years of General Manager experience in polished casual, upscale, or chef‑driven environments
Proven success managing high‑volume operations ($2M+ preferred)
Strong leadership presence with refined communication and guest‑service instincts
Ability to manage two properties simultaneously with composure and organization
A proactive, self‑motivated approach and genuine ownership mindset
Professional polish, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to hospitality excellence
Fresh perspective — not seeking candidates with a long-term career on Galveston Island
