Job Title: Executive Director-Midwestern County Facility in Wisconsin

Executive Director-Midwestern County Facility in Wisconsin-Job Overview:

The Executive Director provides leadership for multiple long-term care campuses, overseeing services including:

Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
State-only skilled nursing home beds
Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRF)
Residential Care Apartment Complexes (RCAC)
Adult Family Homes (AFH)
Independent and assisted living residences The role ensures high-quality, person-centered care and regulatory excellence across all programs.

Executive Director-Midwestern County Facility in Wisconsin-Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all clinical and residential operations across multiple facilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic initiatives and operational plans
Manage multi-facility operating and capital budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
Ensure regulatory compliance and serve as primary liaison with agencies
Lead risk management initiatives, including audits, investigations, and emergency preparedness
Negotiate and interpret contracts with legal counsel
Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, county departments, health systems, advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders
Represent the county in community, regional, and state initiatives
Lead recruitment, retention, and workforce development initiatives
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in services and staff management
Oversee capital projects, expansions, and new facility openings
Participate in county-wide initiatives and health system integration projects
Provide leadership during crises to ensure continuity of operations

Executive Director-Midwestern County Facility in Wisconsin-Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations and licensing
Financial management and budget oversight skills
Multi-facility healthcare leadership experience
Strategic planning and execution capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Crisis management and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in electronic health records, budgeting software, and related technologies
Commitment to inclusive work environments

Executive Director-Midwestern County Facility in Wisconsin-Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public administration, business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 5 years senior leadership experience in long-term care or healthcare management, including multi-site operations
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator or eligibility to obtain license within six months of hire
Eligibility or certification in CBRF administration is a plus
Experience in public sector or county government preferred
Ability to travel between facilities and respond to after-hours/emergency situations
Successful background check per state caregiver requirements
