Bob Otey joined Goodwin Recruiting in May 2017. Bob uses his extensive restaurant knowledge to focus on placing top talent with high-quality organizations. Bob loves working in all aspects of restaurant operations, including fast food, casual dining, upscale casual, catering, and even using his food truck background.
Bob started in hospitality at 15 years old and never left. His first job was making pizzas for Little Caesar. He moved from an hourly job to a manager role, then transitioned into marketing. The next step in Bob’s restaurant career was Taco Bell, from manager to multi-unit GM. His next move was to Hooters, before joining Outback Steak House as an MP. From Outback, Bob bought a Jimmy John’s Franchise. After selling the establishment, he opened a few fast-casual delis. While operating the delis, Bob started a full-service catering company with food trucks. He wrapped up his operations career with Pizza Hut as an area manager.
