Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations, administrative, or business support role within a technology-driven organization
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to work onsite in Lincoln, RI
- Experience handling export compliance regulations such as ITAR and EAR, or willingness to be trained
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Ability to manage sensitive documentation related to government and defense contracts
- Willingness to support light travel (approximately 10%)
Must haves:
- Processing sales orders from receipt through delivery coordination and customer follow-up
- Managing shipping and receiving logistics across multiple business entities
- Preparing and submitting compliance documentation, certifications, and representations to customers and government contractors
- Supporting ISO9001 and AS9120 quality management system activities, including documentation control and audit preparation
- Handling invoicing, expense review, credit card processing, and document scanning
- Coordinating office operations such as supply ordering, vendor coordination, and overall office organization
- Acting as a go-to resource for internal questions related to procedures, contracts, export control, and basic IT issues
Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience supporting U.S. government or defense-sector customers
- Familiarity with DFARS, FAR, NIST, and compliance-driven environments
- Prior exposure to multinational or subsidiary-based business operations
- Experience assisting with trade shows, events, or executive travel planning
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks independently
