Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant – Anchorage, AK
A well-established specialty healthcare practice in Anchorage is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to join their dedicated, patient-focused team. Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant Benefits & Compensation

Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant credential required
- Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required
- One or more years of experience preferred
- Strong administrative and keyboarding skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Professional, empathetic, and service-oriented communication style
Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist providers as part of a collaborative care team
- Room patients, take vitals, and document protected health information
- Escort patients and support smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
- Maintain provider schedules and organize appointments
- Assist with radiation scheduling and imaging coordination
- Collect and manage outside medical records and reports
- Answer patient calls and provide timely follow-up
- Offer compassionate support to patients and families during diagnosis and treatment
- Perform daily clinic setup and maintain a prepared, welcoming environment
- Stay current on insurance plans and patient payment options
- Occasionally work at multiple locations within Anchorage, with some travel required
