Executive Chef – Luxury Boutique Hotel | Midtown Manhattan

An award-winning, luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Midtown Manhattan is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead its culinary program. This is a highly visible role for a creative, disciplined, and business-minded chef who thrives in an upscale, design-forward hospitality environment.

This chef will oversee all culinary operations for the property, including a signature restaurant, cocktail lounge, in-room dining, and private events. The ideal candidate brings a balance of culinary creativity, strong leadership, and financial acumen, with a passion for building teams and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all kitchen operations across multiple outlets, ensuring consistent execution, quality, and presentation
Develop and evolve menus that reflect modern, elevated cuisine while remaining operationally efficient
Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing culinary team
Maintain strict standards for food safety, cleanliness, and compliance
Manage food, labor, and operating costs while maximizing profitability
Partner closely with hotel leadership, front-of-house, and events teams to deliver seamless service
Support private dining, rooftop or lounge programming, and high-profile events

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or luxury lifestyle brand
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, team-first management style
Proven ability to manage food and labor costs in a high-volume, quality-driven operation
Experience with hotel or multi-outlet environments is highly preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused NYC setting
