A well-established, locally owned Nashville restaurant is seeking a Front of the House / Bar Manager to lead guest experience and elevate an already strong bourbon and whiskey program. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-energy, hospitality-driven environments.

Front of the House / Bar Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Must Haves:

• FOH and bar management experience in a full-service or high-volume environment

• Strong background with bourbon and whiskey programs

• Experience training staff on spirits knowledge, cocktails, and upselling

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable

• Experience managing bar inventory, ordering, and cost controls

• Comfortable handling guest feedback and service recovery

• Hands-on leadership style with floor presence during peak service

• Knowledge of alcohol service laws and compliance

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead FOH and bar teams through busy services

• Oversee bar operations, inventory, and ordering

• Train bartenders on cocktail execution and whiskey education

• Develop whiskey features, flights, and seasonal offerings

• Ensure high service and hospitality standards

• Support scheduling and staffing needs

• Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready FOH environment

Front of the House / Bar Manager Preferred Background & Skills

(Nice to Have)

• Experience curating whiskey menus or barrel selections

• Event planning or tasting experience

• Multi-unit or high-volume background

• Passion for BBQ culture and Southern hospitality

• Strong guest engagement and storytelling skills around spirits
