Director of Finance – Palm Springs, CA

Director of Finance Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary of $80,000–$95,000 plus eligibility for bonus

Director of Finance Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
- 5–7 years of supervisory experience in public accounting or financial management
- Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting
- Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated supervisory and team leadership abilities
- Ability to pass background and credit check according to guidelines
- Willingness to serve as Manager on Duty, including nights and weekends as needed
Director of Finance Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with ADP payroll and Sage accounting systems
- Prior industry experience in venues, events, or entertainment
- CPA or MBA credential is a plus
Director of Finance Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial, accounting, purchasing, and internal control operations for the venue
- Supervise finance and box office teams, handling hiring, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement financial goals, budgeting, and compliance with policies and regulations
- Review contracts, event settlements, and all financial transactions
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, tax filings, and ad hoc reports
- Coordinate audits and risk management, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Support HR and payroll operations, working closely with other departments to achieve venue-wide success
