A well-established Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation department is seeking a general Outpatient Physiatrist to join a collaborative, academically oriented team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad outpatient population, providing comprehensive PM&R care across musculoskeletal medicine, pain management, spasticity, electrodiagnostics, and rehabilitation-focused services.

Position Highlights

Outpatient-focused general PM&R
Broad diagnostic and procedural scope (MSK, injections, EMG, ultrasound-guided procedures)
Academic environment with resident teaching and research opportunities
Faculty appointment available
Employed, full-time position
Competitive guaranteed base salary $215–225K, plus benefits
Some inpatient call required (residents take in-house call)
Not an interventional spine-only role

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Interest in clinical excellence and program growth
