General Contractor – Greater Boston, MA

General Contractor Requirements & Qualifications

Valid General Contractor license in Massachusetts (RI license is a plus and incentivized)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a general contractor or related supervisory construction role
Proven ability to manage projects independently from planning through execution
Experience coordinating subcontractors and overseeing multiple active sites
Familiarity with Xactimate and DocuSketch (nice-to-have)

General Contractor Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Plan and execute construction projects with minimal oversight, delivering on time and within budget
Meet with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
Regularly walk and assess active construction sites to monitor quality and progress
Collaborate with the departmental leadership to align on goals and project delivery
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting using relevant software
