Customer Success Manager

Customer Success Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer support or customer success, ideally within SaaS or e-commerce
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex software and explain it clearly to a non-technical audience
  • Experience with CRM or customer success tools

Customer Success Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce
  • Technically curious and eager to learn in a growth environment
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
  • Customer-first mindset and a proactive approach
  • Comfortable collaborating with teams across the company

Customer Success Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone
  • Support onboarding, including account setup, configuration, and basic product training
  • Guide users on platform features, troubleshooting issues and escalating when necessary
  • Monitor customer health metrics to proactively identify risks or opportunities
  • Document customer feedback and trends to support product improvement
  • Assist with renewals, subscriptions, and account-related questions
