Our client is a power distribution component manufacturer founded over 80 years ago. They are primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to create and release electrical drawings for our growing customer base.
Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop and update electrical drawings that include single lines, three lines, control schematics, and BOMs
- Prepare and release electrical manufacturing drawings to production and purchasing adhering to production schedule
- Support company-wide initiatives, including quality improvement projects to maintain best-in-class service
- Provide technical support to sales and distributors as needed
Electrical Design Engineer Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 1+ years experience in electrical manufacturing or electrical construction OR
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 3+ years of electrical manufacturing or electrical construction experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or other software
- Demonstrated understanding of single, three phase and DC circuits
- Demonstrated understanding of breaker selection and cable sizing
- Strong proficiency in control wiring. control schematics, and interconnection power feed diagrams.
