Seeking a process driven Electrical Project Manager in the San Antonio and DFW markets for a growing and reputable $200M/ year Commercial Electrical Contractor client.
Key duties include budget management, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, risk management, quality assurance, and ensuring adherence to NEC codes and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Construction/Planning:
- Review blueprints, cost estimates, and contracts.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and risk management plans.
- Estimate labor, material, and resource needs.
- Coordinate with engineering, architects, and other departments.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Project Execution:
- Lead project teams and delegate tasks.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee on-site construction, ensuring work follows electrical codes and standards.
- Monitor progress, efficiency, and quality.
- Resolve technical issues and overcome obstacles.
- Communicate with clients, foremen, and stakeholders.
- Project Closeout:
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction, and NEC.
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) and leadership skills.
- Budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project).
- Experience in the electrical industry, often with a degree in a related field.
