High Energy Bar Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Currently employed candidates with a stable work history strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, polished casual or high-energy restaurant with $6M+ in annual sales
  • Comfortable using Toast POS and related reporting tools
  • High positive energy with a natural ability to connect with people
  • Ambitious, motivated, and solutions-oriented
  • Hands-on leader who leads from the floor, not the office
  • Comfortable working in social, music-driven environments

High Energy Bar Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Strong expertise in beverage and bar operations across spirits, beer, wine, and cocktails, with a focus on consistency and quality
  • Proven ability to manage liquor costs, bar margins, inventory, ordering, and waste control
  • Experience hiring, training, scheduling, and developing bartenders and bar staff
  • Strong guest experience and atmosphere management skills, including service flow and guest recovery
  • High-volume bar experience with the ability to lead during peak periods while maintaining responsible alcohol service standards

High Energy Bar Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for a high-volume patio and bar
  • Lead by example by staying active, engaged, and visible on the floor
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team that enjoys coming to work
  • Manage inventory, labor, and P&L to drive strong business results
  • Create a fun, inviting environment for both guests and staff
