Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney Requirements & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated plaintiff-side personal injury experience required.
  • 3–5 years of litigation experience preferred; candidates with 2 years and significant trial or deposition experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience in document review, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Experience conducting depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and case management skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume litigation docket.
  • Willingness and ability to work fully onsite in Houston.

Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee a docket of plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through trial preparation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses for active litigation matters.
  • Take and defend depositions of both fact and expert witnesses.
  • Prepare cases for mediation, trial, and all related proceedings.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated support team to ensure effective case management.
  • Provide clear, consistent communication and advocacy for clients throughout the litigation process.
