We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow revenue and expand market presence within the landscaping, construction, and outdoor services industry. This role is ideal for a hunter-minded self-starter who actively prospects, opens new accounts, and builds long-term partnerships with landscapers, contractors, municipalities, golf courses, HOAs, and commercial clients. Success in this role comes from consistent outbound activity, strong relationship-building, and the ability to close and grow business in a competitive market.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience prospecting, developing, and closing new business in an outside sales or business development role
  • Demonstrated success selling to landscaping, construction, municipal, or outdoor services clients
  • Comfortable working in a blue-collar / landscape / construction culture, including job sites and early mornings
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with owners, decision-makers, and field personnel
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently — from cold outreach to close and ongoing account growth
  • High level of self-motivation, accountability, and drive
  • CRM experience is required. Preferably NetSuite,
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred

Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience selling landscape products, aggregates, soil, compost, mulch, or construction materials
  • Existing relationships within the landscaping, construction, or municipal markets
  • Strong understanding of how landscape contractors operate day-to-day
  • Disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-up
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong work ethic
  • CRM experience preferred
