Dining Room Manager | Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily service operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences from door to dessert
- Train, coach, and empower FOH team members to uphold the highest hospitality standards
- Create an engaging dining room culture through communication, teamwork, and accountability
- Conduct effective pre-shift meetings to share updates, specials, and service goals
- Monitor floor activity to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues swiftly and professionally
- Partner closely with the culinary team to ensure quality and timing align with guest expectations
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with Mecklenburg County and company guidelines
- Support administrative duties including scheduling, inventory accuracy, and daily cash controls
Requirements & Must Haves
We’re looking for a proven restaurant leader who brings:
- Minimum 3 years of floor management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- A calm, confident leadership style with strong communication and guest relations skills
- Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems, reporting, and basic computer skills
- Ability to lead by example in all facets of service, cleanliness, and teamwork
- Stamina to work long shifts (up to 10–12 hours), including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs as part of normal operations
