Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of culinary management experience
  • 7+ years of foodservice experience in high-volume environments
  • Experience overseeing multi-unit F&B operations or casino/hotel culinary programs
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development abilities
  • Proven skill in food/labor cost control and P&L participation
  • Proficiency with kitchen systems, inventories, and POS
  • Ability to train, motivate, and manage large teams
  • Eligible for required local gaming licenses/certifications

Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience driving guest loyalty through service excellence
  • Expertise in developing kitchen action plans and operational systems
  • Strong administrative capabilities (reviews, documentation, compliance)
  • Ability to build effective staffing pipelines and mentor internal talent
  • Bilingual abilities
  • College degree (preferred)
  • High-level culinary technical skill and creativity
