Join a respected full-service law firm with a dynamic team serving clients across corporate, labor and employment, and litigation practice areas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to make an impact by providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to a collaborative group of attorneys within the firm’s Commercial Transportation Litigation Defense team.

You’ll manage complex case files, assist in drafting and filing key legal documents, and play a critical role in keeping cases on track from start to finish, all within a professional, growth-oriented environment.

Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Provide litigation and administrative support to attorneys in the Commercial Transportation Litigation Defense team
  • Manage multiple active cases in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, including scheduling, filings, and deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and paralegals on trial preparation and case management
  • Communicate directly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, maintaining professionalism and accuracy
  • 5+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Litigation Assistant in a private law firm
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures; transportation defense experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and legal software
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent communication skills
