Location: Columbus, OH
We are seeking a highly motivated Acquisitions Manager to drive the identification, negotiation, and acquisition of land for new development projects. Reporting directly to the National Vice President of Development & Acquisitions, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping our growth strategy—overseeing due diligence, entitlements, budgeting, and municipal approvals while fostering key relationships with brokers, municipalities, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and secure land opportunities that align with the company’s development objectives.
- Lead negotiations for Letters of Intent (LOIs) and Purchase and Sale Agreements with brokers, landowners, and other stakeholders.
- Manage due diligence processes, including rezoning, permitting, environmental, and engineering studies.
- Oversee site design coordination, entitlement timelines, and project budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Represent the company in municipal hearings, neighborhood meetings, and public forums to advance project approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisitions, real estate development, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, project management, and stakeholder relations.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Must be based in Columbus, OH, with strong knowledge of the local real estate and development market.
